The Rail Baltic Pärnu Passenger Terminal architectural competition is entering the home stretch.
The results of the competition will be announced at 12 o’clock on Tuesday, 23 December at the Pärnu Central Library, where the competition entries will be on display.
The architects represented by the following key words (in alphabetical order) earned award-winning places –
The aim of the architectural competition was to find the best complete spatial solution for Pärnu’s Rail Baltic Passenger Terminal and its immediate surroundings. The hope is to commission the building design project for the terminal and its immediate surroundings from the winner and to engage the winner in drawing up the detailed plan for the area. The competition was international and the language of the competition was Estonian. The competition’s prize fund is 22 000 euros, of which the prize for first place is 6000 euros.
