Jätkub EKA arhitektuuriteaduskonna avatud loengute sari
Eesti Kunstiakadeemia arhitektuuriteaduskond jätkab avatud loengute sarjaga, mis on mõeldud kõigile tehiskeskkonna loomisega tegelevatele üliõpilastele ja sellega seotud erialade praktikutele ning avatud ka ruumikultuuri huviliste laiemale ringile.
Eesti Kunstiakadeemia arhitektuuriteaduskond jätkab avatud loengute sarjaga, mis on mõeldud kõigile tehiskeskkonna loomisega tegelevatele üliõpilastele ja sellega seotud erialade praktikutele ning avatud ka ruumikultuuri huviliste laiemale ringile.
Loengud algavad kell 19.00.
Loengud toimuvad Teaduste Akadeemia, LHV panga või EKA arhitektuuriosakonna saalis (vt loengu taga märget).
Loengud on inglise keeles ning tasuta.

Hooaja esimene esineja on Haakon Rasmussen (6. sept.):
“architecture as an additive”
Haakon Rasmussen is CEO and owner of 3RW architecture office in Bergen, Norway. He’s been teacher and diploma tutor at Bergen School of Architecture, guest teacher at architecture department at Tamkang University and at architecture department at Shih Chien University. He’s also been commissioned as an advisor for governmental and municipality agencies over the last 10 years. 3RW is engaged in a broad variety of projects, from private houses to consulting the Norwegian Ministry of Defense in developing new strategic concepts for their properties.
3RW architects was established in 1999, since then 3RW architects have been working with a wide variety of projects and clients. 3RW architects have participated in the Venice Biennale 2006 and also in 2000. The office also exhibited at the Havana Biennale 2000, as well as in many other international exhibitions of contemporary architecture. Members of 3RW architects have received the AR award, overall winner in the Architectural Review award in1999 and the Ralph Erskine award in 1997. In 2008, 3RW was selected as the winner of the Europa 40 under 40 award.
3RW architects focuses on architecture as a tool for investigating social relationships within surroundings. Dealing with urban questions of today requires innovations based on interdisciplinary collaboration. This represents a new set of possibilities for the new contemporary architect. Working within a specific landscape/society requires knowledge within a wide range of subjects. Architects need to develop tools of investigation for relevant information, to create meaningful interventions.
