Chief organiser (Purchaser): Paide Vocational Secondary School (PKK), Co-organiser: The Union of Estonian Architects (EAL)
The purpose of the competition is to obtain the best solution for the new building complex of Paide Vocational Secondary School as well as the planning its territory. The site of the competition is the rural municipality of Paide. The size of the competition site is 13.9 ha (see annexes 4 and 5)
The result of the competition will be a tender (blueprint), which will be the basis for the architectural planning and design of the building complex on the site.
The competition will be that of architectural conceptual design in the drafting stage, which will be held in accordance with conditions of the competition of ideas in open tendering procedure of the Public Procurement Act of the Republic of Estonia.
The competition consists of one stage, is confidential and open to the public. The competition is public and anonymous.
Participation in the architectural contest is open to all legal persons governed by private law, bodies governed by public law and natural persons that are members of the Union of Estonian Architects, members of union of architects or equivalent professional associations of EU countries, European Economic Area States or countries which have joined the public procurement agreement of the World Trade Organization, or groups, who presented the project and whose co-author or group leader is a member of the union of architects of a EU country, an EEA State or a country joined public procurement agreement of the WTO.
The official languages of the competition are Estonian andEnglish.
Competition begins: 19 March 2007.
All interested individuals will have access to the general guidelines of the architectural competition, participants’ qualification conditions, as well as the introductory material on the website of the Union of Estonian Architects www.arhliit.ee. Documents are in Estonian and English.
The cost of the complete conditions package, which contains all of the participants’ qualification conditions and necessary data, is EEK 300 (= EUR 30, converting fee included), when bought from the Union of Estonian Architects or Paide Vocational Secondary School and could be sent to participants via mail.

The project should be brought or sent via the mail or courier to Paide Vocational Secondary School, Tallinna mnt 46, Paide 72720 by the deadline mentioned above.
